I haven't seen this series, yet. Maybe more of interest the younger Alexander Elliot.

There are several series including a 1956 b&w series by Disney. Based on the 1920s book series.

Update 4: Tom Turbo (1993)

 

Another, better episode, recently been rebroadcasted. Pantherpfote spielt Geheimnisgeige. An Asian boy in light brown Lederhosen with (non H-style) suspenders and Tyrolean hat. Many scenes in the 2nd half. Also sitting/being tied.

Maybe it's the same actor like in the first update?

Brief scenes. Also boys and men in 30s uniforms. One light spanking scene of a young boy (not in Lederhosen)

Has been aired yesterday on ARD alpha. Available on the ARD mediathek. 

Most or all scenes were not colorized but originally filmed in color. Directly before WWII.

I missed some parts, but obviously very few Lederhosen scenes. Maybe none in part 2.

I haven't seen the complete movie, yet. I don't think that the main characters wore sailor suits/dresses. Main character is younger than in the 2007 TV movie (I own that on DVD, rating 8). Probably the remake is not as good. For sailor suit scenes rating ~3-4 for now, movie itself maybe rating ~5? Perfect rural setting. Handsome boy. Needs to be rechecked later. Pic from the trailer.

(Audio) book: Enid Blyton: Unser Foxl ist ein Held

 

Next to the recently updated Secret Series (f/m rating now 9 on my other blog) I found several book and vinyl covers (radio plays) showing overalls and also at least this with a boy in Lederhosen or at least shorts with H-style suspenders. 

I have to do more research for English titles and if there are movies as well. And maybe more illustrations in the books. Most of these book editions are probably of the 70s. Books might be much earlier (~30s). And there might be different illustrators (and even more in foreign editions).

Update 3: Tom Turbo (1993)

 

I found another young boy (looks like a black boy) in a white sailor suit (and white collar and hat) in episode Das Gold der Geiermeiers (1998). Clip title Fratz Fantom - Video. The video is very short (<2 min). I haven't found the full episode. So not sure how many scenes or if there are more actors.

I'm always watching the 2 rebroadcasts on weekends on ORF . Up to now, no more Lederhosen or sailor suit scenes. I also check regularly for new uploads on YouTube.

Rating 2 for now for this episode.

I think, I have seen (some parts) on TV long time ago, but I don't like this movie and the main character here. 

Novels by Astrid Lindgren. There is also a (shortened ?) 2001 TV version.  

In the novel he wore red shortalls. Also shortalls in 1950s b&w movie(s), see other blog.
