–Comment: Adam Wylie in a long black or dark blue Navy sailor suit, matching collar, 3 stripes and a white cap. A very brief scene (also showing full length, pants are too long) in s4e22.

Also he and some others (f/m) in bib overalls, other blog rating 6. I have recently checked the full series at regular speed.

Great series with good plots and characters, also other scenes of interest, shiny Basketball shorts, jeans, tighty whities, jockstraps. Also starring Justin Shenkarow ("Eerie, Indiana") as older brother and several guests.

Rating ~2-3 for this brief sailor suit scene. Rating ~7-8 for the series itself.

–Comment: A very young kid, probably a boy in a white sailor suit with white (short) collar, 2 stripes and white tie, straw or similar hat. One brief scene. Also a brief rear view (distance) showing another, older kid, I think a girl in a similar suit/dress and ladies in sailor-style dresses.

Setting is modern. So very few scenes.

Rating 2-3.

–Comment: As announced, Arthur Trimble (1916-1948) in a short, white sailor suit with a very large collar flap, 2 thin stripes and large hat. Due to the haircut, I first this is a girl. Also good rear views with the large collar and even climbing/hanging at a tree with the collar hanging down. I've chosen this pic, side view, showing both the length of the pants and the collar. Also shown without the hat in the second half.

I haven't found a DVD release.

Another front view in Mischief Makers (Our Gang abridged series and new German DVD release), not sure if he also appeared there.

The boy in bib overalls (Leon Holmes, also wet) soon on my other blog (I first had to post 2 new Waltons movies first).

There are also other episodes/movies with the same sailor suit like Buster's Bust Up, Education Buster (1925), Buster's Skyrocket (1926), Buster's Picnic (1927), Watch the Birdie (1928), Getting Buster's Goat (1929) and several more. 

Rating ~4-5 for the sailor suit. Around 6-7 for the bib overalls. I haven't checked most of the other ~48 episodes. Colorized photos showing light blue, yellow, pink and dark red sailor suits. Original colors unknown. Suit appears white, thin stripes light colored, maybe light blue or green.

Arthur Trimble also wore bib overalls in Speed Boys (1924), other blog rating 3.

Our Gang new restored BD release, The Glorious Forth (1927), Buster's Mix up (1926)

 

There is a new Little Rascal Complete Collection (Centennial Edition) from Classix Flix on 6 or 7 BD and 8 DVD. Very good remastered quality, but not complete, "only" the talkies (1929-) and 3 restored silent films and some extras. For more info see my overalls blog (incl. The Big Show (1923), boys rating 7).

The pic above is from The Glorious Forth (1927) showing Jay R. Smith. Probably it's not on this collection but to be released on a separate silent film release in 2023.

I have some more movies here with him like Dog Heaven (1927) and The Old Wallop. 

But this image quality is perfect. Very detailed (especially the freckles and shirt). Pic is cropped from a YouTube clip (official publisher). I also have some colorized Our Gang movies here (blog search).

On Misschief Makers, which is an abridged Our Gang series (and recent German release) , I posted a boy with a large sailor hat, looking like a girl. But I think that is taken from Buster's Mix up, showing Arthur Trimble. The collar is very large. More pics soon. There's also a boy in overalls, soon on my other blog. Previously rated 4, bib overalls rating ~6-7.

Happy New Year! This new documentary has been aired on Dec 23th. (S1e1) But probably these scenes are also available on other Kelly Family DVDs.

Rather few and brief scenes here, also walking rear view (of the oldest of the three). These scenes were filmed in 1979.

Very interesting. I have to check later for more and better clips.

Rating ~6 for now.

I previously had a 2011 documentary here, but I don't remember if they contained same or similar scenes.
