Also men in Lederhosen. Available on the ARD mediathek / BR. I haven't seen the full show. Unfortunatley he's not sitting in the first row. So rather few Lederhosen scenes. Maybe there are more in this or other (upcoming) episodes.

Watschnplattler (slap dance, slap in the face) and clapping with benches I also remember in a Heimatfilm (men) but I currently don't recall the title, maybe in So liebt und küsst man in Tirol. Or Im weißen Rössl (1952) and/or 1960)? One with young boys very similar is in Die fröhliche Wallfahrt (re-uploaded).

I have uploaded this rare Boys Choir documentary. No sailor suits, But mainly different shiny shorts including 70s yellow and 80s Adidas (was on my shiny shorts blog, previously unknown, rating ~7-8). Soccer scenes at ~6-8 minutes. In total 26 minutes. Parts might miss. I now have a brighter clip, see next post.

Monkey's Uncle Board Game (1967 ad)

 

A young blonde girl also kneeing in a very short blue sailor dress with matching (long) collar. 2 stripes, long neckline. Game by Transogram (US company, unknown if American kids but it's very likely). There's also a clip in better image quality but you have to sign in for that. Also boys shown but not in sailor suits.

Interesting dress. But as usual brief scenes. 

So rating ~4.

2 episodes have recently been aired (Dec 18). I haven't seen them completely. In the 1969 color episode "Weihnachts Traditionen" there were at least 2 boys in very long buckskin Lederhosen.

Sorry, I haven't made pics and I haven't found them online (not even on the mediathek).

There might be even better episodes. But probably mainly grown-ups  (as shown on the few clips on the web).

There are several other alpha-retro episodes on the mediathek but mainly b&w and few Lederhosen scenes. One is "Links und rechts vom Glockenbach" (very young boy in Lederhosen and Tyrolean hat, b&w).

Again, A Merry Christmas! This show has been rebroadcasted yesterday on WDR. I have only seen some few parts at the end. Filmed in Salzburg or Saulzburg region, the location of the famous Christmas song Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht. (Silent Night, Holy Night).

Not sure about the name of the choir, maybe der Kinderchor der Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen. Hosts Sonja Weissensteiner and Harald Krassnitzer.

Rating at least 4-5. Needs to be rechecked. I didn't expect Lederhosen this year at Christmas, as I can't receive Bavarian channel BR anymore.

The ballet group is the Bundesjugendballett Berlin. But not sure if the young kids are also located there. And not sure if they are playing in Nordhausen. Or part of that theatre (Kinderstatisterie).

The kids also decorating cookies at a table for a long time later (also sitting rear view). Musical scene at around 40 minutes (mediathek). A short clip is also on YouTube.

The blond boy reminds me of another boy actor. Not sure who. Louis Hofmann?

Another, usual but very interesting documentary. Most moving images are b&w. Both pics are unfortunately just photos (at 1h09+1h10). So I can only give rating 7-8 for now. Needs to be rechecked completetly.

Update: Completely checked (the last 20 minutes of my recording I will check later). Very few Lederhosen scenes. One 5 yo shirtless, blonde boy (b&w at 53 minutes). Best scenes are already pictured. One b&w scene at around 1h07. I think the same boy as well.

–Comment: Episode 3 (s2e1) has been aired yesterday. I missed it almost completely as I have seen "All Inclusive", Shiny shorts blog rating 9.

There are some few young boys in Lederhosen shown (buckskin and probably nappa, no suspenders, obviously in the 1950s in East Germany, also many boys (shirtless) in speedos. Pic 2 showing boys in sailor suits obviously in the 1920s. Shorts with suspenders. Also grown-ups in historical clothes and hats, including women.

Also scenes in colors (1970s) in speedos. But mainly or only from a distance.

Very similar to the “Meine Kindheit…” series also showing these kind of footage scenes and interviews of celebrities. Season 1 showing men, women and few young boys in overalls (other blog rating 3).

Needs to be rechecked. Update: Now completetly checked. Very few (good) scenes.

52 minutes. Long scenes at least at around 20-30 minutes. I only have checked it at high speed. English title: Blue Bandanas in the Summer Wind.

Rating 7 for now.

I now have rechecked Ep 187 “Ludwig, der Schuhplattler” (rating 6) and made some pics (previously no pics).

Many boys and men in Lederhosen at the beginning (but mainly from a distance). I think main character Ludwig on front during a competition in pic 2.

Later some boys dancing Schuhplattler and dancing with girls. Also one younger, blonde boy (red/ white checkered shirt). Mainly teen boys, some also sitting.

Searching for pics of the Disney movie "Donovan's Kid" (Pigtails and Western blog, rating up to 7), I found this musical starring Jason Donovan and Verity Rushworth. I don't know the names of the boys. First, it was shown in (at least) Dublin, Glasgow and Leeds (and London ?). And often there are around 3 casts of each kid. Who can help? At least these boys appeared in Dublin.
