Unknown 23= Jean le Bleu (1979)

I found and uploaded a clip of this very rare French TV movie. I don't have the complete one. Set in 1905.

Mentioned here with one screenshot I found earlier in my collection. I haven't found any pics nor clips online.

I haven't seen the full movie yet. Most of it is in color, set in 1980s. Probably only very few and brief flashback scenes (set in both 1915 and 1921).

That director had some very good movies. I have some on my other blog (boys, teen boys, men and ladies in overalls, rating up to 7 (L'argent fait le bonheur, I even bought this and others on DVD).

English title: Don't Tell Me the Boy Was Mad.

I haven't seen the complete movie, yet. I don't think that the main characters wore sailor suits/dresses. Main character is younger than in the 2007 TV movie (I own that on DVD, rating 8). Probably the remake is not as good. For sailor suit scenes rating ~3-4 for now, movie itself maybe rating ~5? Perfect rural setting. Handsome boy. Needs to be rechecked later. Pic from the trailer.

For the first time, I have completely rechecked this series. Previously a cover pic only. Quite good, but typical movie of it's kind. Several boys at school, but none in sailor suits. (But historical clothes/suits of the 1920s). I noticed 2 very brief scenes only. Headshot at the beginning of ep 1, and another one on a graveyard at 1h05 in ep 2 (pictured, also from a distance).

One of the last missing Rasputin and Alexei entry. I haven't seen the complete movie. Available on VHS and obviously as DVD or digital vid.

Quite interesting, rating 4-5 for now. Starring Harry Baur as Rasputin.

Jean Claudio also appeared in Les cadets de l'océan as 15 yo but older looking sailor and also in another movie I have.

The recent 2 Rasputin movies are still not released. And the remaining 2 others, I still haven't found.

Unknown 23 French, update unknown 9 Italian

After knowing that the pic derived from a scan of a photo, I have checked onced more parts of my backups and now found the original digital file (pic 1). Date Aug 1999 was correct (for the digital scan), movie broadcast and production probably around 1991 or even earlier back to the 80s. I still haven't found anything else but I still have to check many tapes. At least the image quality is much better now. I have checked several movies (see this list).

I also found these 2 pics of my "greenish French movie" (probably a different movie ?). Snapshots taken in 2003. No clips found yet.

I also found another unknown French movie with a boy in bib overalls (unknown 9 on my overalls blog, maybe someone can help there). Also previously another unknown movie on my shiny shorts blog (unknown 8, white shorts sitting, rating 9). Probably I can find this on my tapes. 2 other unknown movies there have been identified (complete IMDb check and Google search).

Please comment if you know any of the movies or actors or assumptions.

Pics from the 2015 show.

The choir on the right half, next to them (la Maîtrise de l’Opéra Grand Avignon ?) don't wear sailor suits but regular white shirts.

I like very long white collars. But prefer movies and blue collars.

First I thought that this is a boy as I found it on Simon de La Brosse fansite. Finny. But it's the teen girl in typical early 80s short hair.

Typical 80s movie and romance. But quite good for these days. Great Adidas shorts but boy is very old. English title Pauline at the Beach.

Rating 4 for this brief sailor collar scene.

Also starring 15 yo Jean Claudio who appeared as Alexei Tsarevich in "La tragédie impériale" (1938), aka Rasputin (1938). I still haven't found pics of him proving that he wore a sailor suit as Alexei.

Also scenes of the young men in striped shirts and shorts.

I haven't seen the complete movie. And I prefer younger boys in sailor suits. Most men seem to be older, around 20 and I haven't found the younger teens. The movies about Russian naval schools showing younger boys. Blog search term "naval schools"

During rechecking Mademoiselle O (still haven't found a clip), I found this one and forgot to post it yesterday. French title: Confidences à un inconnu, English title: Secrets Shared with a Stranger, Russian title: Откровения незнакомцу.

I only have checked it at high speed, but I only found few good scenes. I like long collars but in Mademoiselle O he wears a short white sailor suit and a blue collar and also a dark suit or shirt what is much better.
