This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

The Picasa albums are currently still up (July 20th 8am German time). But there are at least pics of the Rasputin/Alexei list missing (update: no, they were missing before, wordpress links, but I will fix them now). One day later the Picasa albums got deleted.
Yesterday, I have re-uploaded 14 pics of posts rated 4-5 (both Lederhosen and sailor suits). I haven't re-uploaded rating 4 or 3-4.
Pics including this (please use a blog search)
1. Bibi und Tina Voll verhext
2. Für'n Groschen Brause
3. Blaue Helm
4. Alles dreht sich um Michael

During research for "Rosamunde Pilcher: Vier Luftballons und ein Todesfall" (see my overalls blog, rating 5), I've found this pic on Google Images which is misaligned to this movie. It was originally posted on "Augsburger Allgemeine" online, 2 days ago and is obviously a different part of a TV programme.
I'm not sure if it's a modern Heimatfilm (image ratio is not fullscreen but rather wide, image quality and colors are good, man and women looks also modern, haircut, glasses) or if it's a classic movie (60s) as the short Lederhosen suggests.
The time could also be wrong. So it might be a Christmas broadcast. The only notable was Sissy (mainly part 1).
I've also checked the online magazine, but I haven't found it. Most movies there are from ZDF, like the misaligned text. Or could be at BR.
Can anybody help? Maybe I already have this movie. Especially when it's a classic.
Probably it's at the end of the movie, a marriage?
Update: I rechecked it and found it on the newspaper dated 1-1-2022. Pic is not from a movie but 10 year old pic of priest Herbert Kohler from Neuburg.

–Comment: Boys and men in Lederhosen. B&w and color.
2 episodes have recently been aired (Dec 18). I haven't seen them completely. In the 1969 color episode "Weihnachts Traditionen" there were at least 2 boys in very long buckskin Lederhosen.
Sorry, I haven't made pics and I haven't found them online (not even on the mediathek).
There might be even better episodes. But probably mainly grown-ups (as shown on the few clips on the web).
There are several other alpha-retro episodes on the mediathek but mainly b&w and few Lederhosen scenes. One is "Links und rechts vom Glockenbach" (very young boy in Lederhosen and Tyrolean hat, b&w).
One earlier episode I had is (no pic as well)

–Comment: At least 6 boys in different short and tight Lederhosen. Maybe the boy in the right in smooth finish Lederhosen (probably not)? And some more (younger) boys in the choir itself I think in smooth finished Lederhosen.
Finally some good Lederhosen! And finally a choir entry (1st of the DDR?) Has been aired yesterday in the show "Damals war's" and I almost forgot this. Brief scene after ~1h15. It shows Herbert Roth and the Rundfunk-Kinderchor Leipzig (now MDR Kinderchor) correct title "Herbert Roth & Rundfunkkinderchor Leipzig: Das Rennsteiglied", mixed choir.
Unknown year, maybe according to his haircut in the 60s or 70s.
The year you have to guess in this episode was the death year of Roth. I haven't heard of him before and my final guess of the year was 1981 (but was wrong).
Maybe is this even taken from a movie or TV special (1976 or 1979 would make sense) about him? In the 1983 TV show "Von der Wartburg bis zur Saale" was that song "Rennsteig-Lied" shown, also with that choir,
but unknown if it was showing this scene. This is or was available on DVD from harmonika
but I guess the clip was at least recorded earlier. The Rennsteig vinyl LPs were released in the mid 70s, the song is from 1951.
I only found a clip in bad image quality so I've taken that from the mediathek. Few infos, few good pics and no clips about the early choir.
I think, I can give rating 7-8 for now.
Update: In the 2017 documentary it says that this clip appears in the 1983 show. Had same pic
