-Comment: Young Emmerich in long white sailor suit, blue collar, 3 stripes, 3 other boys in sailor suits, ~2x 8 ys one in striped light blue sailor suit, blue collar, one in rare brown collar and one boy ~5 ys in a white sailor suit (pic bottom left in the middle). Also 2 young girls in sailor dresses. 2 long scenes at the beginning of the movie, also outside with Gypsies and at a lake. In total 7 minutes. The rest of the movie Emmerich is grown up (15 years later). At the end of the film one toddler in short white sailor suit on the arm of his mother.

Some good scenes and different sailor suits and other historical clothing.
Though young kids and rather short scenes. But I like it (originally thought of rating 9 or even 10). The rest of the movie is quite boring, a lot of music and dancing (I watched it at high speed).

Starring Gerhard Riedman as the grown up Hungarian composer Emmerich, Rudolf Schock and others. Other titles are "Der Csárdáskönig", Der Csardas-König, The Csardas Princess, Die Emmerich-Kalman-Story.
