-Comment: Thomas Hutter as Peter Rosegger (pictured) in Lederhosen (Bavarian Tracht?) Also at least one other boy in longer Lederhosen and perhaps some men. I don't know name of the actors. Film and TV series, 3 episodes, other 2 are "Aus meiner Waldheimat" and "Als ich beim Käthele im Walde war". DVD title "Waldheimat" after autobiographical novel by Rosegger. There is also a later different color TV series "Waldheimat" aka "Der Waldbauernbub" (1983-1984, 2 seasons each 2 DVDs) as well as a new DVD called "Der Waldbauernbub - Weihnacht in der Waldheimat" which is the pilot film. The b/w film/series might be a classic and of historic interest, but I think I wouldn't like it because the boy is very young and thin. The color series might be much more interesting. First I only saw the cover without Lederhosen, but there are probably some good scenes with Lederhosen. I have to check it all. But rating 4 for the b/w series. Not sure about the Lederhosen seems buckskin with Patina.
